Temporary and Permanent Design of Excavation Support Systems
The Collin Group has been designing excavation support systems for several decades. Systems that we have been the engineer of record on include: soldier beam and lagging walls, tangent pile walls, slurry walls, deep mixing method walls, and soil nails walls. The designs of these structures have utilized state-of-the-practice design tools for typical projects. However, for complicated projects where more rigorous analysis is required, state-of-the-art tools like Plaxis are used to better understand the soil-structure interaction.
